Our Commission Work

Van Doren Metal Art started in 1973 in a bronzing studio and foundry in Carmel, CA. Since that time we have worked in and pioneered multiple metal art applications, working primarily with steel and other mixed media. Together we have completed works all over the globe ranging from Public Arts projects, to industrial and commercial applications, to residential pieces. 

Our commission work has included large scale fountains, bridges, ornamental gates, doors, fireplaces, stairs, and various sculptural pieces. 

We continue our commission work here in San Miguel on a residential basis, and we are always happy to discuss any project idea you might have for your home or business however large or small.  Should you have any questions or needs about a potential project idea we are but a phone call, email, or message away.
